A BY-LAW TO PROVIDE FOR SALARIES
TO THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT JOHN

Be it enacted by the Common Council of Lors d'une reunion du conseil municipal,
The City of Saint John as follows: The City of Saint John a ddcrdtd ce qui suit :
A By-law of The City of Saint John
entitled "A By-law to Provide for Salaries to the
Members of the Common Council of the City of
Saint John", enacted on the 171" day of December,
A.D. 2018, is hereby amended as follows:
1. Section 3.1 is added immediately following
Section 3:
"3.1. The salaries set out at sections I to 3 herein
are subject to the City's Wage Escalation Policy
FAS-007 for annual salary adjustments and will be
adjusted based on the lesser of:
+ The Wage Escalation Policy's three-year
rolling average of Assessment Base
Growth calculation; or
The Management Professional Non -
Union (MPNU) Association salary
adjustment."
IN WITNESS WHEREOF The City of Saint John
has caused the Corporate Common Seal of the said
City to be affixed to this by-law the 28th day of
November, A.D. 2022 and signed by:

3.1. Les r€munerations dnoncdes aux articles 1
A 3 wont sujettes aux dispositions de la Politique
sur ]'indexation des salaires FAS-007 pour les
rajustements salariaux annuels et seront ajustees
selon Ie moindre de:
• la moyenne mobile sur trois ans du calcul
de la croissance de I'assiette d'evaluation
de la Politique sur l'indexation des
salaires; ou
• le rajustement salarial de I'Association
des professionnels en gestion non
syndiquds (MPNU).
