RESPECTING WATER AND SEWERAGE

D'EGOUTS
Be it enacted by the Common Council of Lors d'une reunion du conseil communal,
The City of Saint John as follows: The City of Saint John a decrete cc qui suit :
A By -law of The City of Saint John
entitled "A By -law Respecting Water and
Sewerage ", enacted on the 7"' day of June, A.D.
2004, is hereby amended as follows:
1. Sections 2(6), 2(7), 6 and 16 are repealed.
2. Subsection 2(3) is repealed in its entirety
and replaced with the following:
"2(3) No permit shall be issued under this section
until a fee of $100.00 is paid for the inspection of
the installation of services or laterals, which must
be carried out to the satisfaction of the
Commissioner. It shall be necessary for a permit to
be issued and the corresponding fee paid on a per
property basis."
3. Subsection 2(4) is repealed and replaced
with the following:
"2(4) All work performed under a permit granted
pursuant to this by -law shall be completed in
accordance with the City's General Specifications."
4. Subsection 2(5) is amended by deleting
"2(3)(b)" and replacing it with "2(3) ".
5. Section 3 is amended by deleting "street
line" and replacing it with "applicable main
line(s) ".
IN WITNESS WHEREOF The City of Saint John
has caused the Corporate Common Seal of the said
City to be affixed to this by -law the 29th
day of September, A.D. 2014 signed by:

Par les pr&sentes, 1'arr&t& de The City of Saint John
intitul& « Arr&t& concernant les r&seaux d'eau et
d'&gouts », decrete le 7 juin 2004, est modifi&
comme suit:
1. Les articles 2(6), 2(7), 6 et 16 sont abroges.
2. Le paragraphe 2(3) est abroge daps son
int&gralit& et remplace par cc qui suit :
2(3) La d&livrance du permis pr&vu au present
article est conditionnelle au paiement d'un droit de
100 S pour Finspection de Finstallation des
branchements ou conduites secondaires, le tout a la
satisfaction du commissaire. Le permis delivre et le
paiement des droits aff&rents le soot en fonction de
chaque Bien- fonds. »
3. Le paragraphe 2(4) est abroge et remplace
par cc qui suit :
2(4) Tous les travaux effectu&s conform&ment au
permis delivre en vertu du present arrete doivent
etre effectu&s selon le Cahier general des charges
de la Ville. »
4. Le paragraphe 2(5) est modifi& par la
suppression de « 2(3)b) » et son
remplacement par « 2(3) ».
5. L'article 3 est amend& par la suppression
de « alignement de la rue » et son
remplacement par
canalisation(s) principale(s)
applicable(s) »
