RESPECTING WATER AND SEWERAGE

Be it enacted by the Common Council of Lors d'une reunion du conseil communal,
the City of Saint John as follows: The City of Saint John a d6er6te cc qui suit:
A By -law of the City of Saint John entitled
"A By -law Respecting Water and Sewerage ",
enacted on the 7U' day of June, A.D. 2004, is hereby
amended as follows:
Par les pr6sentes, I'arret6 de The City of
Saint John intituld c Arret6 concernant les r6seaux
d'eau et d'dgouts», ddcr6td le 7 juin 2004, est
modifie comme suit::
Section 5(2) is repealed and replaced with 1 Le paragraphe 5(2) est abrogd et remplacd
the following: par cc qui suit :
"5(2) Where an owner fails to comply with a
notice issued by the Commissioner under
subsection (1):
(a) respecting connection to a water main,
such owner shall pay a rate equal to what
the water service charge would be had the
connection been made, as set out in
Schedule "B ";
(b) respecting connection to a sewer main,
such owner shall pay a rate equal to (a)
above multiplied by the percentage set out
in Schedule "C ";
(c) respecting connection to both a water main
and sewer main, such owner shall pay a
rate equal to the combination of (a) and (b)
above;
(d) the provisions set out in paragraphs 5(2)(a)
through (c) above shall be retroactive
to January 1", 2013."
IN WITNESS WHEREOF The City- of Saint John
has caused the Corporate Common Seal of the said
City to be affixed to this by -law the 14th day of
April, A.D. 2014 and signed by:

conduite d'eau principale et a un 6gout
collecteur, le propridtaire doit payer un taux
dquivalent a la combinaison de a) et b) ci- dessus;
d) les dispositions dnoncdes aux alindas 5(2)a)
A c) ci- dessus, prennent effet r6troactivement
au I"janvier 2013. »
