Subject: Amendment to Agreement and Declaration of Trust
for City of 5aint John Shared Risk Plan
The Committee of the W�ole, having met on February 4, 2D�.� adopted the fallowing
resolution:
RESOLVED that the Committee of the Whole recommends that Common Council amend Section
3.4(b� of the Agreement and Declaration of Trust for the City of Saint John Shared Risk Plan,
dated February 1, 2413 as follows:
The Pension Board shall pay or provide for the payment of all reasonable and necessary
expenses, costs and fees incurred by the Board of Trustees in connection with the maintenance
of the Fund. All expenses of the Trustees shall be approved by the Trus#ees and shall be paid for
by the Fund pro�ided such expenses are reasonable as determined by the Trustees and are
incurred as a result of attending to the administration and investment of the 5aint John shared
Risk Plan (SRP) and the Fund. A Trustee or their employer shall be reimbursed from the Fund for
reasonable wages lost to a rr�aximum of$750 per day per trustee or reasonable expenses
incurred while acting as a memfaer of the Board of Trustees and attending to the afFairs of the
Trust upon presentation of a claim thereof. All expenses must be accompanied by a receipt.

The Committee of the Whole, having met on February 4, 2013 adopted the following
resolution:
RESOLVED that the Committee af the Whole recorr�mends that Common Council accept the
offer set out in the lanuary 31, 2013 letter from Cox and Palmer on behalf of the Town of
Rothesay and authorize its execution by the Mayor and Common Clerk.
