1. Meetinq Called To Order
The Mayor called the Committee of the Whole meeting to order.
1(a) 2009-2012 Police Operating Budget
Referring to a submitted presentation, B. Reid, Deputy Chief of Police; and David Emerson,
Interim Chair of Police Commission, presented the Saint John Police Force 2009-2012 budget
requests.
1(c) Fire and EMO
Referring to a submitted presentation, R. Simonds, presented the Saint John Fire Department
budget request for 2009.
On motion of Councillor Titus
Seconded by Councillor McGuire
RESOLVED that Council convene in Committee of the
Whole on December 13, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. to hear budget deliberations.
Question being taken, the motion was carried.
2. Adjournment
The Mayor declared the meeting adjourned at 12:40 p.m.
