Common Council of the City of Saint John
His Worship Mayor Court, Deputy Mayor Chase and Councillors,
Subject: Committee of the Whole Closed Session - Resignation of Andrew Becket,
Deputy City Manager.
The Committee of the Whole, having met on August 16t", 2010, made the following
recommendation:
"that the resignation of Andrew Beckett, Deputy City Manager of Programs and
Priorities, be accepted and that this item be added to Council's open session agenda."

Subject: Committee of the Whole Closed Session - Nominating Committee,
Committee Recommendations
The Committee of the Whole, having met on August 161h, 2010, made the following
recommendation:
RESOLVED that the Common Clerk be directed to add the following recommended appointments to
committees to Council's open session agenda:
Saint John Industrial Parks: to re-appoint Mayor Ivan Court until the end of this term on Council.
Rockwood Park Advisory Committee: to appoint Tom Chesworth for a 1 year term ending August
16, 2011 and further, that the Clerk be directed to add the item to Council's August 16th, 2010 open
session agenda as item 13.2."
