1. Meeting Called To Order
The Clerk called the Committee of the Whole Open meeting to order due to the absence of the
Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
On motion of Councillor Higgins
Seconded by Councillor Killen
RESOLVED that Councillor Sullivan be named as Chair of the June 10,
2010 Committee of the Whole meeting.
Question being taken, the motion was carried.

(Mayor Court entered the meeting and replaced Councillor Sullivan as Chair)

2. Discussion of Confidential Matters

Committee of the Whole Open Session
June 10, 2010
Referring to a submitted report, Brian White and Lydia Lewycky of ADI Limited, presented
Council with a history of the urban development that has taken place in Saint John and they
facilitated discussions regarding a new Municipal Plan.
The City Solicitor advised that Council may want to consider convening in Committee of the
Whole closed session when discussing any potential changes to the existing land use plans in
the City of Saint John.
On motion of Councillor Court
Seconded by Councillor Higgins
RESOLVED that the public be excluded from the meeting for the duration
of the discussion on the following matters: Land Matter 10.2(4)(c,d).
Question being taken, the motion was carried with Councillors Farren, Sullivan and McGuire
voting nay.
