2004-05-25_Agenda--Ordre du Jour (2) Seating Arrangement OATHS OF OFFICE - COMMON COUNCIL MAY 25, 2004 Council assembles in right hallway area (looking from the Lobby), Lobby Level, City Hall, no later than 6:50 p.m. Proceed into Council Chamber as follows: Piper - John McCarthy (continues in to end, exits opposite) Susan Greer, Sergeant-at-Mace (place mace) Pat Woods, Common Clerk Councillor-elect Chang Councillor-elect Chase Councillor-elect Ferguson Councillor-elect Farren Councillor-elect Court Deputy Mayor-elect Hooton Councillor-elect Titus Councillor-elect White Councillor-elect McGuire Councillor-elect Tait Norm McFarlane, Mayor-elect, escorted by Chief of Police Cogswell and remain standing in front of respective seats at the Council table. National Anthem - Gisele Roy Oath of Office administered to Mayor in front of Council table Police Chief escorts Mayor McFarlane to his seat at the Council table Each Councillor individually administered Oath of Office Councillors to proceed to their respective seats after being sworn in City Manager, Common Clerk, City Solicitor take their seats Mayor to call first meeting of Council to order (see agenda) Following Council meeting, a reception will be held in the Red Room, 8th Floor of City Hall (Enclosed for information is a copy of the Oath of Office)
