13.2 Committee of the Whole Report - City Solicitors Membership on the City of Saint
John Pension Board as a Trustee
RESOLVED that following the discussion with an outside legal advisor, the City Solicitor is
legally able to sit as a member on the City of Saint Johns Pension Board as a trustee and
furthermore that Common Council supports his membership on this board.
13.3 Committee of the Whole Report - Ernst & Young Letter of Engagement
RESOLVED that the Mayor and Common Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the
Agreement submitted by Ernst & Young in the form of a Letter of Engagement for the
development of a Performance Management Program for the four positions reporting directly to
Common Council, with the revisions that: (1) the Agreement be construed in accordance with
and subject to the laws and courts of New Brunswick; and (2) that Common Council be
identified as the authority to approve and implement such a program.
