Mayor's remarks. 4. 7:00 p.m. - (a) Proposed amendment to the North End Neighbourhood Plan (which forms part of the City's Municipal Development Plan) to redesignate parcel of land situated at the northeast corner of Adelaide Street and Old Adelaide Street from Medium Density Residential to Commercial, to permit that portion of a building formerly used for office and service station to be used for local business or office, as requested by Hamilton Realty Limited. (b) Proposed Zoning By-Law amendment to re-zone said property from "RM-l" Three-Storey Multiple Residential to "B-1" Local Business. (c) Letter from Planning Advisory Committee re proposed amendments. 5. 7:00 p.m. - (a) Proposed Zoning By-Law amendment to re-z~ne property at 213 Ludlow Street being the Carleton Grocery, from "RM-l" Three-Storey Multiple Residential to "B-1" Local Business, to provide for the continued commercial use of the property, as requested by Westside Enterprises Ltd. (b) Letter from Planning Advisory Committee re proposed amendment. (c) Petition from residents of West Saint John in support of the above- proposed amendment. 6. 7.00 p.m. - (a) Proposed Zoning By-Law amendment to re-zone property on the south side of University Avenue to the east of Varsity Street from "RM-l" Three-Storey Multiple Residential to "IL-2" Major Institutional, to provide for the construction of the new Divisional Headquarters building, as requested by the New Brunswick Division of the Canadian Red Cross Society. (b) Letter from Planning Advisory Committee re the proposed amendment. 7. 7:00 p.m. - (a) Proposed Zoning By-Law amendment to amend the definition of "amusement place", and to permit amusement centres in "S-C" Shopping Centre zones, to delete churches and "R" Residential zones from but adding community centres to the separation requirements; and to make the (revised) separation requirements applicable to amusement places in "1-1" and "1-2" Industrial zones, but to delete it from "B-3" Central Business zone. (b) Letter from Planning Advisory Committee re proposed amendment. 8. 7:30 p.m. - Jean Cramm, Her Majesty The Queen, in right of the Province of New Brunswick, Attention: Honourable F. Dube, Minister of Finance and New Brunswick Telephone Company, Owners, to appear to show cause why the building located at 250 Duke Street West should not be removed or destroyed as a dangerous or dilapidated building. 9. 8:00 p.m. - Presentation by the New Brunswick Heart Foundation with regard to Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training. 10. 8:15 p.m. - Presentation on behalf of residents of Manawagonish Road in opposition to said street being designated as a truck route.
