Committee of the Whole Open Session
On motion of Councillor Titus
Seconded by Councillor McGuire
RESOLVED that Council suspend its procedur al by - law
item 5.3 Notice - 48 hours in advance - requirements for this meeting .
Question being taken, the motion was carried.
1 .1 Corporate Planning
The Deputy City Manager of Programs and Priorities appeared before Council to respond to
Councils qu estions respecting the Corporate Planning department’s 2009 proposed budget. Mr.
Beckett also provided Council with an explanation of the role of his department.
1.2 Common Clerk
The Common Clerk appea red before Council and presented the 2009 Common C lerk and
Common Council budget request and responded to questions posed by Council.
2. Discussion of Confidential Matters
On motion of Deputy Mayor Chase
Seconded by Councillor Mott
RESOLVED that the public be excluded from the meeting for the
durati on of the discussion on the following matter(s):
