The Mayor called the Committee of the Whole meeting to order .
1. Defining Our Commitment: A Corporate Strategic Plan for The City of Saint
John
Referring to a submitted report ent itled Defining Our Commitment: A Corporate Strategic
Plan f or The City of Saint John , Stephanie Rackley - Roach , Corporate Program
Manager, updated Cou ncil with respect to The City of Saint John’s Corporate Strategic
plan.
Kim Graham, Manager of Programs and Priorities, presented the topic of Enhancing
Customer Se rvice.
Francois Beaulieu, Solicitor for City Solicitor’ s Office, outlined the Service A lignment s
that have been implemented within the organization.
Gordon Jennings, Manager of Organizational Effectiveness in the Human Resources
Department, presented t he topic of a Productive W orkforce.
Shayne Galbraith, Director Public Works for Municipal Operations, outlined I nfrastructure
Management.
Cathy Graham, Comptroller for Finance Department, presented the topic of Financial
Stability.
Dan Leblanc, Admin istrative Officer for Saint John Fire Department , outlined the topic of
Demonstrating Accountability .
Sarah Herring, Planner for Planning & Development Department, introduced the topic of
integrating sustainability .
