Minutes of the Portion of the Committee of the Whole Meeting Open to the Public

Mott, Snook, Sullivan, and Titus

1. Meeting Called To Order
The Mayor called the Committee of the Whole meeting to order.
The City Solicitor advised Council that he would like to speak in Committee of the Whole
Closed session respecting previous legal opinions which have been received by Council
including one which has not been made public.
On motion of Councillor Killen
Seconded by Councillor Mott
RESOLVED that the City Solicitor, in Committee of the Whole
Closed session, outline previous legal opinions that have been provided to Council with
respect to his membership on the Pension Board including one opinion that was not
made public.
Question being taken, the motion was carried with Councillor Titus
and Sullivan voting nay.
2. Discussion of Confidential Matters
On motion of Councillor Killen
Seconded by Councillor Mott
RESOLVED that the public be excluded from the meeting for the

duration of the discussion on the following matter(s): Negotiations );Legal

Opinion
Question being taken, the motion was carried with Councillor Titus
voting nay.
