Minutes of the Portion of the Committee of the Whole Meeting Open to the Public
Wednesday, June 6, 2007, 4:40 p.m.

Present:
Mayor McFarlane,
Councillors Chase, Court, Farren, Ferguson, Tait, and White

T. Totten, City Manager; J. Nugent, City Solicitor; G. Yeomans, Commissioner of
Finance and Treasurer; P. Woods, Deputy City Manager and Common Clerk,
and E. Gormley, Assistant Common Clerk.
1. Meeting Called To Order
The Mayor called the Committee of the Whole meeting to order.
1.1 Legal Opinion 10.2(4)(f) Exhibition Association
Referring to a submitted report, the City Solicitor advised the Committee that the
contents of the report, a response to a question raised in open session of Council by
Councillor Chang, are such that the Committee should decide whether they are
appropriately dealt with in a closed or open meeting.
On motion of Councillor Tait
Seconded by Councillor Court
RESOLVED that the submitted report, Exhibition Association, be
tabled until the next open meeting of Council.
Question being taken, the motion was carried.
The meeting adjourned at 4:50 p.m.
