BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT LEVY BY-LAW
Be it enacted by the Common Council of
the City of Saint John as follows:

ARRETE CONCERNANT LA
CONTRIBUTION POUR L'AMELIORATION
DES AFFAIRES
Le conseil communal de The City of
Saint John decrete ce qui suit:
1 This By-law may be cited as The City of 1 Le present arrete peut etre cite sous Ie
Saint John Business Improvement Levy By-law. titre: Arrete de The City of Saint John concernant
la contribution pour l'amelioration des affaires.
2 A levy of 16 cents for each one hundred
dollars of assessed value is hereby imposed for
2006 upon non-residential property within the
Business Improvement Area established by By-
Law No. BIA-l Business Improvement Area By-
Law enacted on the 5th day of January, 2004.
3 A by-law of The City of Saint John enacted
on the third day of January, 1989 entitled "By-law
Number B-114 The Business Improvement Levy
By-law" and all amendments thereto is repealed on
the coming into force of this by-law.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF The City of Saint John
has caused the Common Seal of the said City to be
affixed to this by-law the 3rd day of January, A.D.

2 Par la presente, une contribution de
16 cents par tranche de cent dollars de la valeur
evaluee est imposee pour l'annee 2006 sur les
immeubles non residentiels situes a l'interieur de la
zone d'amelioration des affaires etablie en vertu de
l'Arrete nO BIA-l relatif a la zone d'amelioration
des affaires edicte Ie 5 janvier 2004.
3 L'arrete de The City of Saint John decrete
Ie 3 janvier 1989 et intitule Arrete nO B-114
concernant la taxe d'amelioration des affaires, ainsi
que to utes les modifications afferentes, est abroge
des l'entree en vigueur du present arrete.
EN FOI DE QUOI, The City of Saint John a fait
apposer son sceau communal sur Ie present arrete
Ie 3 janvier 2006, avec les signatures suivantes :
