1. Call to Order
The Mayor called the Committee of the Whole Open Session Meeting to order.
1.1 Review of Regional Service Commissions Feedback (CotW Open Session)
Acting CAO A. Poffenroth provided an overview.
Moved by Deputy Mayor MacKenzie, seconded by Councillor Sullivan:
That the Review of Regional Service Commissions Feedback be received for information.
MOTION CARRIED.
Councillor Norton entered the meeting.
1.2 Saint John Police Governance - An Update (CotW Open Session)
General Counsel M. Tompkins reviewed the submitted presentation entitled “Saint John Police
Governance - An Update”.
Moved by Deputy Mayor MacKenzie, seconded by Councillor Sullivan:
That the update regarding Saint John Police Governance be received for information.
MOTION CARRIED.
2. Discussion of Confidential Matters
Moved by Councillor Moore, seconded by Councillor Sullivan:
That the public be excluded from the meeting for the duration of the discussion of the following
matters: 4.1 Approval of Minutes - July 6, 2026; 4.2 Legal Opinion 68(1)(f,j); 6.1 CAO Update:
6.1.1 Finance Matter 68(1)(c); 6.2 Personal Information 68(1)(b); 6.3 Land Matter 68(1)(d); 6.4
Legal Matter 68(1)(f); and 6.5 Legal Matter 68(1)(f).
