M (c) any body of water within the City. 8(2) No person shall sweep into or deposit, or cause to be swept or deposited into any Public Place, any litter or accumulation of litter. 8(3) The owner of any building, lot, private sidewalk or driveway shall not allow litter to accumulate thereon so that it is likely to be blown or scattered on any Public Place. Offences 9 A person who violates a provision of this By- law commits an offence and is liable to a minimum fine of one hundred forty dollars ($140.00) and a maximum fine of two thousand one hundred dollars ($2,100.00) Administrative Penalties 10(1) A person who violates any provision of this by-law may pay to the City within 45 calendar days from the date of such violation an administrative penalty of fifty dollars ($50.00), and upon such payment, the person who committed the violation is not liable to be prosecuted therefore. 10(2) Payment of an administrative penalty does not alleviate the responsibility for compliance .....with....the....b...-law..................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Infractions 9 Toute personne qui contrevient a une disposition du present arrdte est coupable d'une infraction et est passible d'une amende d'au moins cent quarante dollars (140$) et d'au plus deux mille cent dollars (2 100$). ........ _ . Penalites administratives 10(1) Toute perspmme qui contrevient a une disposition du present arrdte peut payer a la municipalite dans un delai de 45 jours civils a compter de la date de ladite infraction, une penalite administrative de cinquante dollars (50$), et une fois 1'amende payee, la personne nest plus susceptible de poursuites judiciaires. 10(2) Le paiement d'une penalite administrative ne deroge pas a 1'obligation de se conformer au .resent arrdte. Repeal 11 L'arrdte de The City of Saint John edicte le 21 novembre, 2005 intitule « Arrete interdisant de jeter ou de deposer des ordures dans The City of Saint John » est abro �e des 1'entree en vi,:.ueur dui re�'sent -7- of this by-law.
