I, JONATHAN TAYLOR, of the City of Saint John in the County of Saint John
and Province of New Brunswick, DO HEREBY CERTIFY: -
I. That I am the City Clerk of the said City of Saint John,15 Market Square, P,O,
Box 1971, Saint John, N.B. E2L 41_1 and as such have the custody of the minutes and
records of the Common Council of the said City of Saint John and of the Common
Seal of the said City.
2. That hereto attached and marked "A" is a true copy of a by-iaw entitled "By,
Law Number C.P, 111-187 A Law to Amend the Zoning By -Law of the City of Saint
John", enacted by the Common Council of the City of Saint John on the loth day of
February, A.D., 2025.
3. That hereto attached and marked "B" is a copy of a resolution adopted at a
meeting of the said Common Council of the City of Saint John held on thelOth day
of February, A.D., 2025.
4. That I have carefully compared the said by-law with the original and the same
is a true copy thereof.

A LAW TO AMEND THE ZONING BY-
LAW OF THE CITY OF SAINT JOHN
Be it enacted by The City of Saint John in
Common Council convened, as follows:
The Zoning By-law of The City of Saint John
enacted on the fifteenth day of December, A.D.
2014, is amended by:

(d) When an applicant withdraws or
cancels an application made to Councils
or the Advisory Committee pursuant to
sections 53(2)(d), 53(2)(1), 53(4),
55(1)(a), 55(2), 59, 60, 61(1), 61(3), or
117 of the Community Planning Act, prior
to public notice being issued, sixty (60)
percent of the fee identified in
Schedule B shall be refunded to the
applicant. No refund will be provided for
an application that is cancelled or
withdrawn after public notice has been
issued.
(e) When an applicant withdraws or
cancels an application made to the
Development Officer pursuant to
sections 53(2)(i), 53(7), 53(8), 55(2), or
108 of the Community Planning Act or a
request for a Zoning Confirmation Letter
under this by-law, prior to the
Development Officer rendering a
decision, sixty (60) percent of the fee
identified in Schedule B shall be
refunded to the applicant. No refund will
be provided for an application cancelled
or withdrawn after the Development
Officer has rendered a decision.
d) Lorsqu'un requerant retire ou annule
une demande d'urbanisme soumise au
conseil ou au comite consultatif en vertu
des articles 53(2)(d), 53(2)(i), 53(4),
55(1)(a), 55(2), 59, 60, 61(1), 61(3) ou 117
de la Loi sur 1'urbanisme, avant la
publication de II'avis public, 60 % du droit
prevu a I'annexe B INui sont rembourses.

RESOLVED that the by-law entitled "By -Law Number C.P. 111-187 A Law to
Amend the Zoning By -Law of The City of Saint John" adding paragraph 2.10(d) and
2.10(e); and deleting and replacing paragraph 2.13(e) with respect to the
refunding process of application fees, be read a third time, enacted, and the
Corporate Common Seal be affixed thereto.
1. That i am a Registered Professional' Planner in good standing, in accordance with
the meaning set out in the Registered Professional Planners Act of New
Brunswick
2. That this document is entitled Byelaw Number C.P.111 187 a Law to Amend the
Zoning By-law of the City of Saint John on the 10th day of February, 2025 and is
an Amendment to a Zoning Bylaw as defined in the Community Planning Act of
New Brunswick.
3. That this document was prepared under my direction
4. That this document complies with the provisions of the Community Planning Act
of New Brunswick and the Regulations under that Act
5. This document is By Law Number C.P. 111.187 a Law to Amend the Zoning By-
law of the City of Saint John adopted by the local government council of Saint
