1. Meeting Called To Order
The Mayor called the Committee of the Whole meeting to order.
2. Discussion of Confidential Matters
On motion of Deputy Mayor Rinehart
Seconded by Councillor Reardon
RESOLVED that the public be excluded from the meeting for the duration of the
discussion on the following matters: 1.1 Approval of Minutes 10.2(4); 1.3 Employment Matter
10.2(4)(j); 1.4 Labour Matter 10.2(4)(j); 1.5 Financial Matter 10.2(4)(c); 1.6 Financial Matter
10.2(4)(c); 1.7 Legal Matter 10.2(4)(g).
Question being taken, the motion was carried.
Record Pursuant to Section 10.2(4)
The meeting of the Committee of the Whole of Common Council held on September 15, 2014
was closed to the public pursuant to Section 10.2(4) of the Municipalities Act during the
Committee's discussion of the following matters: 1.1 Approval of Minutes 10.2(4); 1.3
Employment Matter 10.2(4)(j); 1.4 Labour Matter 10.2(4)(j); 1.5 Financial Matter 10.2(4)(c); 1.6
Financial Matter 10.2(4)(c); 1.7 Legal Matter 10.2(4)(g).
The City Solicitor, responding to question, advised on due process for Zone SJ, opening that all
Zone SJ substantive discussions and recommendations should be heard in Open
Session.Questions on the legislative or legal process may legitimately be heard in Closed
Session.
