Dear Mayor and Council;
I am writing you to oppose the rezoning of the property adjacent to the Fundy Bay Holdings Property @
460 Latimore Lake Road.
We have had our fill off Gravel Pits in our community, and do not want any more. We deserve to enjoy
some quality of life within our community, and we state again, we do not need any more pits in
Latimore Lake.
We fought this proposal back five years ago, and we are sticking to our decision that Latimore Lake does
not need another gravel pit.
By allowing this rezoning to go through, would be a slap in the face to all the residents living in this area.
We have two Thomas construction pits, Lafarge, and two Fundy bay holdings pit already in our area.
These pits in our community depreciate the value of our homes, and do a lot of damage to our roads,
not to mention the breathing problems it causes us. We believe the pits in our community that stated
they are depleted, should be forced to rehabilitate.
Our city cannot keep up with the repairs of our roads caused by the big tandem trucks hauling material
from these pits, and we were supposed to have our roads in Latimore Lake repaired two years ago.
When is this going to happen?
We ask you to please reject this rezoning.
Thank you. l OL4 G

To Steven Langille, mayor, and council,
My name is Steven Harquail and I live at 599 Latimore Lake Road. I live next to the
community center on this road, somewhat adjacent to Fundy Bay gravel pit. I have lived
there for 3 years, and have 3 children which play on a daily basis, and have not had any
problems with living there. There are not any problems with dust or any things of that
nature. I have no problem with a pit operating their business in this area.
