Minutes of the Portion of the Special Committee of the Whole Meeting Open to the Public
Thursday, January 13, 2011, 2:30 p.m.

Councillors Court, Farren, McGuire, Mott, Norton, Snook, and Sullivan.

1. Meeting Called To Order
The Mayor called the Special Committee of the Whole meeting to order.
2. Discussion of Confidential Matters
On motion of Councillor McGuire
Seconded by Councillor Farren
RESOLVED that the public be excluded from the meeting for the duration
of the discussion on the following matter(s): 12.1 Property Matter 10.2(4)(d)
Question being taken, the motion was carried.

The meeting of the Committee of the Whole of Common Council held on January 13, 2011 was
closed to the public pursuant to Section 10.2(4) of the Municipalities Act during the Committee's
discussion of the following matter(s): 12.1 Property Matter 10.2(4)(d)

The Mayor re-convened the Committee of the Whole meeting to order at 3:35 p.m.
3. Property Matter
On motion of Councillor Sullivan
Seconded by Councillor McGuire
RESOLVED that
the decision on the property matter with the Harbour Bridge
Authority be tabled until Monday, January 17th, 2011 pending discussion with the Province of New
Brunswick.
Councillor Sullivan explained that it was the intention of Council to enter into discussion with the
Harbour Bridge Authority regarding a property matter and added that prior to the meeting,
correspondence was received from the Province of New Brunswick which requires follow-up
and discussion before making a decision on the matter.
Question being taken, the motion was carried, with Councillor Court and Councillor Farren
voting nay.
The meeting adjourned at 3:40 p.m.
